Shane Michael Braslow, a Coral Springs, Florida paramedic, was arrested Friday after he was accused of using the internet to sexually exploit two minors, news sources report. Braslow was also arrested in April on charges of attempted kidnapping and battery; his trial is pending and he was out of jail on $50,000 bail when he was arrested again and booked back into the Broward County Main Jail. It is unclear whether he will qualify for bail a second time. It is also unclear whether he has retained a criminal defense attorney .

Reports say Braslow works as an emergency medical technician and holds a number of medical licenses within the state of Florida. However, those licenses may be revoked as a result of his recent arrests, sources indicate. It Is not clear where Braslow worked immediately prior to his arrest.

According to police records, Braslow is no stranger to the legal system. Detectives arrested him in July 2011 after he allegedly tried to lure an 11-year-old over to him while he was masturbating on the 2900 block of Northwest 87th Terrace. For reasons unknown, police never filed charges in that case.

Detectives arrested Braslow again in April 2012 after he allegedly tried to kidnap a 44-year-old jogger. According to reports, Braslow approached the jogger in his black Honda and told her that he had taken pictures of her to upload on the web. Braslow allegedly grabbed the woman, but she fought him off; Braslow fled and the victim wrote down part of his license plate number. Detectives used the number to track Braslow down to his home and booked him into jail on charges of attempted kidnapping and battery. He later bailed out on $50,000 following his incarceration, reports say.

Following Braslow's arrest, detectives seized a computer from his residence, perhaps because Braslow made comments about uploading the jogger victim's images to the Internet. Detectives reportedly found two videos on Braslow's PC that depict him in a video chat with two "prepubescent" girls. Detectives say the videos showed two screens: one screen showed Braslow's exposed genitals and the other screen showed the two young victims. The screens were from a webcam chat between Braslow and the victims, reports say.

Detectives did not identify the victims by age or name, but say they were dressed in training bras and appeared to be in a bedroom. In one of the videos, Braslow reportedly asked the girls to expose their breasts and they complied. In the other video, Braslow asked the girls to show him their genitals and they complied again, reports say. Detectives say Braslow asked the girls to do a number of other sexually explicit actions during the video chats. One of the videos had a duration of 7:44 and the other 9:19, reports say. It also appears the Braslow recorded the two videos in January 2012.

It is currently unclear whether detectives have identified the two girls shown in the videos. It also remains to be seen whether Braslow will be able to continue to practice as a paramedic within Broward County when the cases are resolved.
